This position will meet the customer service (food and beverage) needs of Pelican Lakes Restaurant/Golf Course guests.
This would include taking orders and serving food and beverage(s).
This individual must be 21 years of age to meet the requirements of Colorado State Law for serving and pouring alcoholic beverages without supervision.
Essential Job Tasks and Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests.
Drives concession golf cart around golf courses in a safe and courteous manner and sell products to golfers and any other guests walking in and around the resort.
Stock carts with snacks, refreshments and sundries according to anticipated demand and requests.
Maintain cart in a clean, sanitary condition at all times.
Ensures proper mechanical maintenance by communicating to Pro Shop outside attendants of need for maintenance.
Check station assigned to you prior to opening for cleanliness of work areas.
Serve guest order promptly and according to Pelican Lakes Restaurant manual.
Do all necessary set-up side work as per side work schedule.
Accurately practices service standards on a daily basis.
Recite all menu items and ingredients of each item.
Recite all Premium/Super Premium items - beer, wines, liquors, and knows prices.
Ring up in Digital Dining Point of Sale system all purchases, able to close guest checks and do end of day paperwork / deposits accurately.
Answer basic questions; give directions and information about the resort and local areas.
Ensure proper recording of all cash and credit tips and accurately records sales and tips.
Must be able to work extended shift hours, according to customer demand Must be willing to work in occasionally adverse outdoors extremes i.

Rain / Cold / Wind / Heat Carry out all reasonable requests by management, which the team member is capable of performing.
Ensure accuracy with presenting the guest with the check.
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision , and make informed and accurate decisions according to the Pelican Lakes Restaurant standards Skills and Experience One-year experience in the Food and Beverage field is desired, but not required.
Current Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification.
