Ascent Classical Academies is seeking a full-time marketing and communications coordinator for its growing campus at Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Colorado in Windsor, Colorado.
The marketing and communications coordinator plays a highly visible and important role in the school, serving as a liaison between students, families, and staff, and ensuring all aspects of campus aesthetics, policies, and procedures align with our brand.
This position serves both the full-time and homeschool enrichment programs, and reports to the headmaster while collaborating regularly with the home office marketing team.
He or she must also work closely and collaboratively with all campus and homeschool program employees.
Ascent Classical Academies is a growing K-12 classical charter school network based in Colorado.
Our schools offer an American Classical Education and currently serve approximately 2,300 students in K-12 campuses located in the Denver, Fort Collins, and Grand Junction areas of Colorado, with significant expansion planned in South Carolina, North Carolina, and beyond.

Requirements:
The marketing and communications coordinator is responsible for implementing and continuously improving in the following areas of work:
Communications:
Plan, produce, and publish all mass communications, including recurring parent and employee communications (Arrow, WAG, etc.
) Copy-editing in accordance with the ACA editorial style guide and general best practices for an educational institution Develop and maintain a marketing and communications calendar for mass communications, social media posts, and campus events Manage and moderate social media channels, in collaboration with home office Update website as needed, in collaboration with home office Create and manage the family business directory Marketing:
Uphold and enforce the ACA brand and editorial standards as outlined in the Branding and Editorial Styleguide Create print and digital materials including, but not limited to, brochures, banners, campus signage, promotional materials (internal and external), school planners, stationery, business cards, digital ads, and awards Document school events, performances, and student life through photography and videography and prepare assets for publication Monitor registration and enrollment numbers and collaborate with campus leadership to develop/implement marketing plans to ensure seats are filled Community Outreach and Events:
Develop and implement community outreach plan, including efforts to reach educationally disadvantaged students Plan or collaborate with other employees on school-wide events with the intention of boosting student engagement and fostering a sense of community Organize school tours in collaboration with school leadership and the registrar Other Required Expectations:

The marketing and communications coordinator should meet the following
Qualifications:
Superior time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills Exceptional computer skills, including familiarity with traditional office programs (Microsoft or Google) Proven knowledge of communications and marketing ethics and best practices Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Appreciation for classical education strongly preferred Proficient public speaking abilities preferred Experience with email marketing software such as MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, or a similar program preferred Knowledge of best practices in graphic design and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design programs preferred Associate's degree or equivalent preferred Strong communication skills and high level of professionalism Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Experience or interest in organizational clarity and productivity tools like Getting Things Done and Entrepreneurship Operating System (EOS) All employees at Ascent Classical Academies are responsible for modeling the intellectual and moral atmosphere of the company and affiliated schools, with strong character, passion for excellence and a relentless commitment to the development of virtue in young people.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
